Strength Level: Excluding the superhuman strength
Mavryk possesses in her lower body as part of her body's adaptations
for running, she possesses the normal human strength of a woman her
age, height and build who engages in intensive regular exercise.
Known Superhuman Powers: Mavryk can run at speeds
exceeding 100 mph. Because of this, her legs are incredibly strong
but not overly muscular. This has it's limits though as she cannot
sustain a high velocity for more than approximately a five minute
burst, therefore long distance travel by running is out of the question
for her.
Her entire body is able to deal with the high speeds that she runs
as her cardiovascular and respitory systems are much more efficient
than humans. But unlike Quciksilver, she doesn't perceive the world
to be in slow motion and is able to enjoy time out relaxing and not
doing everything in a hurry, however her metabolic rate and reaction
time are also super fast in that she has free reign to eat whatever
she likes and not gain weight and can dodge bullets and any weapons
pulled on her when she concentrates.
She also has a high stamina rating in that she can train or dance
for hours and not get tired, but she will become worn out if she runs
too fast for too long and can pass out.
Abilities/Special Skills: Mavryk has trained
in the martial art of Aikido and currently holds a black belt level.
She is also well versed in the use of a bo staff.
Weapons Used: Mavryk uses a retractable adamantium

Personality:
Mavryk, dubbed as "the queen of sarcasm",
is not an easy person to bond with. She acts like everything is too
much trouble and has very little patience. Things have to be done
now and never later, so god help you if you owe her a favour. She's
not a big lover of people and is not usually a pleasant person to
be around. She emits an aura of "go away" and most people
leave her alone because of it.
At her best, Mavryk can be very funny and quite willing to share a
joke or instigate one. She can also be surprisingly protective over
people she feels like she's become close to (even if it's news to
them) but usually comes off as always being out for number one. No
one really knows the true Sukie Maverick, not even her mother.
Personal Interests: Watching professional wrestling
(her favourite wrestler is Jon Jericho), crap sit-coms and the uber
popular survival/game/sports tv show, Violetine Says. She's a big
fan of chinese cuisine and enjoys eating out, she's a really good
pool player and she loves her aikido training.
History: She
grew up with her half sister, Alex and parents in Kent, London. Her
parents divorced when she was a teenager and her father and sister
moved to America leaving her and her mother alone. We don't know at
what age, but we know that Sukie spent some time working with what
is now her arch nemesis, Hatchet within a now defunct Bounty Hunter's
Guild. At the age of 26, Mavryk become a member of the London based,
Extremists and helped in their cause to keep rogue mutants in line
amongst other side protects...well when they could be bothered.
After recovering severe injuries during a bout with Hatchet, it took
her a couple of weeks to recover and get back to her former self.
Recently, Mavryk, along with five other mutants including Facet, Hatchet,
Ken Shackley, Orchid and Snare were forced (via blackmail) to work
for Prelate Voss (Now Grey Eminence, allthough his identity is still
unknown to them) in order to fight Spitfire for his own personal reasons.
During this strange turn of events, it was revealed that Mavryk is
actually married to Hatchet even though the pair loathe one another.
When this actually happened, has so far not been revealed allthough
it was presumably during the time they spent working together. |
