Distinguishing Marks: Mister Amoeba’s body is composed of a transparent, gelatinous substance.
Strength Level: Due to the nature of his gelatinous body, Mister Amoeba’s strength level is difficult to determine – he does not lift/press weight in the traditional sense – but can expand and manipulate his body to perform feats of superhuman strength. He has fought against Spitfire, who can lift/press approximately 10 tonnes.
Known Superhuman Powers: Mister Amoeba’s powers are derived from his unique physiology. His entire body is composed of a gelatinous, transparent substance. He is essentially formless, resembling a gigantic single-celled creature, however with effort he can mentally control the form that his body takes, including shaping it into human form. He can expand or contract his body, enabling him to fit through narrow gaps or expand to giant size. He can also cause his body to become acidic, corroding anything he touches. It would seem that he eats in this way, by drawing objects into his body and dissolving them. Mister Amoeba’s body is extremely resilient to damage, and he can survive having portions of his body blown up or severed. He can control portions of his mass which become separated from his body, as long as they are not removed too far from the main part of his body. If enough of his mass were to be dispersed over a wide area, Mister Amoeba would lose control of his body – essentially losing consciousness until he can reconstitute himself. Whether he can actually be destroyed or killed remains to be seen.
Abilities/Special Skills: Mister Amoeba has no mouth or vocal chords, but is able to communicate through limited telepathy.

Personality: Mister Amoeba is fully aware of his monstrous state and wants to find a cure to return himself to normal. He is prepared to use any means to reach this goal, including theft and even murder.
Personal Interests: None known.
History: Mister Amoeba was first seen in an attack on a party at London’s Hellfire Club. He intended to steal from the wealthy guests to fund his quest to return himself to human form. It has been theorised that he was the victim of a scientific accident which caused his transformation, although the nature of this experiment, and who conducted it, have yet to be revealed. Mr Ameoba fought the superhero Spitfire at the Hellfire Club, and was defeated when she released a blast of energy inside him, literally blowing him apart. Police special operatives gathered his scattered remains and imprisoned him in a special escape–proof container. Later it was revealed that his attack on the club was in fact set up by Edgar Lackham, who at the time was acting as Spitfire’s publicity agent. By getting Mister Amoeba to fight Spitfire, he increased Spitfire’s popularity and his own prestige within the Hellfire Club. Later, when Lackham was made Black Rook of the Hellfire Club, he arranged to have Mister Amoeba broken out of his prison whilst being transferred to the Tyburn Maximum Security Prison. Mister Amoeba remains at large, and was recently seen at the offices of the psychic Fix, who was attempting to restore Amoeba’s memories of human existence.
