Strength Level: Janie possesses superhuman strength.
Her mutant powers enable her to lift/press approximately 2 tonnes
under optimal conditions.
Known Superhuman Powers: Janie is a mutant with
the superhuman ability to lower the temperature of her forearms to
the consistency of ice. In order to do this, she has to mentally override
her body's temperature regulator within her hypothalamus. When she
does this, her forearms aren't limited to merely being arms covered
in ice,. She can alter the shape of them to whatever she wishes. She
usually fashions them into spiky icicles or a blunt ended shape in
order to stab at or concuss her assailant.
Janie's ice arms have been known to break or snap away, but this does
not affect her body once she resumes her arms back to flesh and bone.
She can grow back the shape just as quickly and effortlessly as they
become severed.
She also has the ability to freeze people with an element of her mutant
gifts she prefers to use only in emergencies due to the unpleasant
sensation it gives her and that is an optic Ice Blast. With this she
can quite capably encase objects or people in a block of ice. Unfortunately,
it leaves her momentarily blinded and in excruciating pain. In addition
to her ice powers, Janie also has super strength.
Abilities/Special Skills: Janie can drive, fix
mechanical equipment and vehicles, she is fluent in 5 languages (not
including English) German, French, Italian, Russian and Japanese.
Also, while not the best detective on the block, she does have very
competant deductive skills and a curious nature allowing her to do
well at her job as a Private Investigator.
Weapons Used: None, allthough she can create
her own stabbing icicles on command. |

Personality:
Known best for her playful and straight forward
nature, Janie has made many friends over the years (spanning the
globe) who she likes to keep in touch with including contacts and
close buddies. Janie likes to make people laugh but finds than not
everyone shares her particular sense of humour. She is easily manipulated
though, especially by members of the opposite sex who she finds
attractive. She suffers from low self esteem after being dumped
one too many times, but she tries her best to see the best in everyone...even
her ex-boyfriends!
Personal Interests: Janie likes to travel
which is why she took time out to learn so many languages. She's
been all over the world backpacking and loves wide open spaces,
she isn't fond of the city where she currently finds herself.
History: Not a lot
is known of Janie's past with regard to her mutant activities. She
has complete control over her ice powers and has obviously spent
great deal of time studying them to become as adept as she has.
Allthough she doesn't tend to rely on them and tends to use them
in extreme emergencies, or when she hasn't any ice for her drink.
Prior to her journey to spend time with her old college friend Tyrone
Kovac (Ashen), she had little choice but to travel away from her
home in Scotland as she was certainly being watched and needed an
escape, London seemed as good a place as any. Towards the end of
her journey, Janie was almost kidnapped by a masked assassin called
Risk who she was able to subdue. During a comical attempt at an
interrogation session held by Tyrone and his friends, they discovered
that Risk was working for Veil and soon after, Risk escaped. The
next night, Janie was kidnapped soon after by Silverbolt (Jack Spark's
wife) and then taken to Veil.
After being subjected to a variety of bizarre Veil style antics,
Janie was traded back to the Extremists for some discs she had stolen
from Veil. Despite the loss of Janie's long locks and a few other
nasties, that episode ended on a good note.
Since then, Janie has been involved in drinking competitions and
being forced to endure Jack Spark's goumet sandwich repetoire and
in a burst of desperation has taken a nasty run down office in the
East End of London in hopes to spark off her career as a Private
Investogator.
